Castellón · 1985Germán and Sacri are a married couple deeply attached to their region, boasting extensive experience in the confectionery world and the local produce grown there. Together, they craft exceptional products in their workshop that reach gourmet shops across Spain and are exported to countries such as Belgium, Lithuania, and France. Their story began three generations ago in Montanejos and Valencia with "Dulces Germán." In 1985, Germán Torres Peñalvert decided to make a dream a reality in the Alto Palancia area—specifically in Altura, just steps away from the Val de Cristo Charterhouse. Situated in a privileged location surrounded by the Sierra Calderona and Sierra de Espadán mountain ranges, he chose to cultivate quince, planting over 900 trees. Thus, the "La Cartuja de Val de Cristo" confectionery factory was born. Driven by a love for the land's produce, his son, Germán Torres Bonet, decided to further showcase these ingredients by crafting tomato and apricot jams.
“We craft artisanal jams, gelées, and traditional Valencian sweets using locally grown fruit, selected directly from local farmers. Each jar is the result of a certified artisanal process—without haste, without shortcuts.”
